On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2018, the space in Via Sottocorno will become the ideal location to discover the new Officina collection of storage furnishings, a capsule collection designed by Alessandro La Spada for Clan Milano made up of iconic pieces that combine the excellence of woodworking with the originality of a contemporary artwork with a slightly naïf pop taste.
Within the showroom a temporary installation in the exhibition space focused on the new brand project will be presented to the public and professionals of the sector on the evening of April 18th. An unusual collection of furniture that pays tribute to the excellence of Italian and non-Italian automotive graphics and elements that come from the world of garages.
Available in two versions: bar cabinet and sideboard, the Officina collection is characterized by an essential structure enhanced by the Mimetica finish – in bright contrasts between blue, orange, red and black – and by functional details such as handles and legs that draw inspiration respectively from the handlebars of the vises and from easels.
Industrial-like platforms made from mesh metal structures host the brand’s new pieces, accompanied for the occasion by a customised motorbike that helps to convey the mood of garages.
A secret room welcomes Novegro, classic style furniture with an easel base collocated next to a table always in Mimetic finish, two poufs and a shaped seat. The atmosphere is illuminated by the Pois chandelier, characterised by an apparently easy structure made of four semicircles positioned at different heights on the same axis, each of which culminates in two rounded bulbs.
